The Oregon Truffle Festival is a one-of-a-kind celebration of a world delicacy, the Oregon wild truffle. Held over a crisp winter weekend in January, the festival attracts harvesters, chefs, growers and food lovers to share the secrets of the truffle through a variety of events, including a Grand Truffle Dinner, Growers' Forum, Marketplace, lectures, cooking demonstrations, truffle dog demos, winery tours, featured restaurants and cooking classes.

One of the most recognized in the U.S., the Eugene Marathon attracts thousands of runners from Eugene and beyond to this flat, scenic course. Breathe in the fresh spring air while competing, or while cheering from the sidelines. Both 26.2 mi (42 km) and 13.1 mi (21 km) courses start from Hayward Field at the University of Oregon and lead through Eugene and Springfield streets, ending at Autzen Stadium where food, music and an awards ceremony await.
